This course is provided by 巧克教育股份有限公司 (referred to herein as “Choc Education”).

Please review the following important information before enrolling in a Choc Education course.

Course Overview

Choc Education provides three online courses. The 2026 Fall Course (Flagship) includes thirty-two (32) live classes over sixteen (16) weeks, three individual coaching sessions, physical and digital books, the Choc learning platform, AI-powered learning tools, class recordings, and community activities. The Steady Course includes eight (8) live classes over eight (8) weeks, with one class per week. The Accelerated Booster Course includes eight (8) live classes over four (4) weeks, with two classes per week. Both short courses include digital books, the learning platform, class recordings, and community activities; they do not include individual coaching sessions.

Classes are conducted in small groups and class sizes may vary.

Class Scheduling

The class timetable for the selected course is published before payment. 2026 Fall Course (Flagship) sections meet twice per week on non-consecutive days. The Steady Course and the Accelerated Booster Course use the fixed timetable displayed for the selected course during enrolment.

Choc Education uses a placement assessment to identify the appropriate level. A free demo class is also available.

Tuition and Payment

The standard tuition fee is NT$39,800 for the 2026 Fall Course (Flagship) and NT$9,338 for the Steady Course or the Accelerated Booster Course. The price displayed during enrolment is the whole price for the selected course and its stated inclusions.

Students who pay the full amount payable in cleared funds before the selected course start date receive a 3% reduction. The Accelerated Booster Course is payable in full. Steady Course and 2026 Fall Course (Flagship) students may alternatively pay the amount payable in two equal instalments; the 3% reduction is not available when paying by instalments.

For the 2026 Fall Course (Flagship), the second instalment is due on the date published in the Semester Schedule. For the Steady Course, Choc Education sends the second-instalment notice at the start of Week 3 of the selected course, and payment is due within 72 hours after that notice. Where the first instalment of a short course was paid by card, the same card is charged when that period ends.

Where more than one promotional, campaign, referral, partner, or student percentage discount applies, those discounts are added together and capped at a combined 25% of the standard tuition fee. The 3% reduction for payment in full is a payment term, not a percentage discount, and is applied separately after other discounts and tuition credits.

Switch Credit. A student enrolling with Choc Education for the first time who shows evidence of a course paid for at another language school or online course provider that remains unused may be issued a personal, one-time switch code. Choc Education decides the credit from the unused value the evidence shows, up to NT$15,000, and may decline a claim. The credit is deducted from the amount payable after percentage discounts and before the 3% reduction for payment in full, is not counted toward the 25% combined cap above, and cannot be combined with any promotional, referral, or partner code. A switch code may be used once, on one enrollment, by the student it was issued to, before it expires; it has no cash value, is not transferable, and any part of it exceeding the amount payable is neither refunded nor carried forward. Where a refund is later payable, it is calculated on the amounts actually paid to Choc Education. The full rules of the offer are published on the Switch Credit page of the website.

Student discount. A student aged 13 or over who is enrolled at a school or university and shows a valid student ID may be issued a personal, one-time student code worth the published student discount. It is applied with other percentage discounts up to the combined cap above. A student code may be used once, on one enrollment, by the student it was issued to, before it expires; it has no cash value and is not transferable.

If a second instalment is not paid when due, Choc Education will issue written reminders and may suspend access to the educational services included in the selected course until all outstanding amounts are received in cleared funds. Materials already supplied remain the student’s own. Access is restored within one business day after payment clears. Classes missed during suspension are not made up, rescheduled, or refunded, and the full course fee remains payable.

Refunds and Withdrawals

Refunds and withdrawals are governed by Choc Education's Refund Policy in effect at the time of enrollment. You may terminate your enrollment at any time, and the refund payable is determined by a tiered schedule based on how much of the course has been delivered. Please review the Refund Policy for full details before enrolling.
